About Me
Hi there, I’m Sandra, and I’m truly thrilled to have you here. My own breastfeeding journey began in 2013 with the birth of my first daughter. However, it was a challenging start as I found myself separated from her after birth, making the initiation of breastfeeding far from easy. Yet, my unwavering determination to breastfeed led me to protect my milk supply and ultimately achieve the goal of exclusive breastfeeding. In 2016, the arrival of my second child sparked a profound interest in lactation and inspired me to embark on a path toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). In 2023, I proudly earned my certification as an IBCLC. This journey commenced with a comprehensive 95-hour breastfeeding course from Lactation Education Resources in the USA back in 2017. Following my coursework, I dedicated over 1000 hours to hands-on experience, collaborating closely with mothers and families within my local community. One of the most gratifying aspects of my work is when my clients express that they remember me each
time they nourish their little ones. Being a part of this profound and memorable journey with families is
an honor. Naturally, I’m a supportive person, and I’m incredibly passionate about my work. While I primarily serve the Vancouver area and the lower mainland, I also offer international breastfeeding consultations. Moreover, I’m fluent in three languages: English, French, and Arabic, providing my services to a diverse clientele. Whether you’re a local parent seeking support or someone from across the globe looking for guidance on your breastfeeding journey, I’m here to offer my expertise and unwavering support.

I called Sandra when my daughter was still in the NICU. At first, it was to increase my milk production.
Sandra took her time on the phone and gave me lots of tips and tricks. she also sent me an email with detailed information.
I contacted her again a week after being at home to have a one on one consultation.
She took her time to ask me a couple of questions about my health and my mental health. What I founded really nice from her is that she was always there to listen to my concerns. I also found her help really useful since she was able to see how I was breastfeeding and how my daughter was latching to my breasts. After diagnosing the problem, She showed me how to do some exercises and referred me to a specialist for follow-up. She taught me different breastfeeding positions and how to help my daughter to keep a sealed and perfect latch. (My daughter has been used to bottles from day one, in the NICU). Sandra was also available at any time. I was also allowed to text her when I had questions, and she also took some time to see how my daughter and I were doing. She also shared videos and articles with me to help me in this journey. After 2 months of life, I've been able to finally say that I was breastfeeding my daughter directly from breasts! No more pumping!

Sandra, we can't thank you enough for all the effort you did to help us during this journey that didn't end because of you.
We went through mastitis, poor latching, low supply, and many ups and downs.
But with your knowledge, patience, support, and daily follow-up, we didn't give up.
We are so grateful that you supported us during those challenges.
We love you!

Breastfeeding has been challenging, especially after facing several complications during the first 2 weeks after birth. My baby was not latching correctly. I had soar nipples and plugged ducts, engorgement and bleb. Sandra helped me solve all those issues, and with her support, I was able to breastfeed again. She was super helpful and provided me with important tips on how to make the process smoother and more successful.
Also, she was showing me various feeding positions and helped to choose the right pump for going back to work. She took the size of my nipples and helped me select the correct size of the pump's flanges. Sandra provided me with the knowledge on how to protect and increase my milk supply.
My baby is now 4 months old, and THANKS to Sandra; I am still breastfeeding.

Sandra has been tremendously helpful in navigating my breast feeding journey as a first time mom. She is thorough and caring and I gained knowledge and confidence right from our first session. There is so much information online about all things breastfeeding but to have support regarding everything from good latch to fullness cues that is tailored to you and your unique baby is invaluable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandra to anyone looking for support with breastfeeding!

I had such a lovely experience with Sandra. I e-mailed her one night when I was just about ready to give up breastfeeding with my 3 month old baby. It was on Easter weekend so I figured that I would have to wait all weekend to see someone. Sandra called me back almost immediately and treated me with the most priority. She came the very next day during the holidays and was so patient with my baby and I. She didn't treat our session as if it was timed to end right at the 1.5hr mark when she saw that we needed more time. She stayed and kept persevering until my baby was able to finally feed on me. She ended up staying 3 hours! Sandra is so compassionate and so soothing and was the reason I was able to stay calm during such a stressful time. She continued to reach out regularly to check up on me and she really made me feel like the most important person on her list at all times. She even went to the store and personally dropped off an item the next day that would help with my babys oral training, when I could've gone to the store myself to get it. Now my baby and I are effectively breastfeeding after 3 months of struggling with it (and thinking I already knew all the tips and tricks from talking to nurses and watching online videos).
I would 100% recommend Sandra over and over again for your LC needs! Thank you so much Sandra
